    • How effective are solar water heating systems?

The experience and expertise brought to you by Sudarshan Saur Shakti Pvt. Ltd. Ensures that we have been manufacturing solar water heaters since the year 1989. This would be a satisfactory explanation to let you know that solar water heating systems have been helping over 5000homes all over the country in various capacities and this number has been growing exponentially year after year.

    • Can we get hot water for twenty four hours in a day with solar heaters?

Yes, although this would be limited to the capacity of your system. The maximum amount of hot water will be determined by the system rating; however you can try to save hot water through the day for ensuring better results.

    • Is it possible to get water temperatures similar to that of an electric geyser?

Generally electric geysers are set to 60 C. In small capacity domestic solar water heating system during morning hours, initial water temperature may range from 55 C to 65 C and this varies with different seasons. However on a clear day you will get suitable hot water required for you and your family s bathing purposes. E.g. if you are using a 250 LPD (Liter Per Day) capacity system, you can get about 250 liters of hot water with a suitable temperature to take bath on a clear day.

    • How much is the exact amount of savings you can have on electricity bills?

A savings chart would aid you in understanding how many electric units have been saved after using a solar water heating system. For a regular family, the electrical geyser itself consumes more than 50% electricity, so your solar water heating system would aid you greatly.

    • Do cyclones or hail stones affect your system?

The solar water heating system is provided with concrete support blocks and the structure is designed such that it can withstand regular heavy winds with a speed up to 100 km/hr. In case of catastrophic hail stone or cyclone or cyclonic attack the system may get damaged but you can ask for a replacement right away, although this would not be part of your warranty. Therefore we would advise you to get your system insured against such calamities too.

    • What happens when there is lack of sunshine or during monsoons?

In most regions of India, good sunshine is available almost all round the year. Even in winter months, the solar water heating system would work optimally. During rainfall, the water in your system would get heated every time sunshine is exposed to it. In case you would like to know how to make the right use of the amount of water heated by your system please refer to the F.P.C. user manual in our Customer Care section on this website.
